About Samantha

My guitar teaching approach blends structure with creativity to help every student grow with confidence. I start by building a strong foundation in technique, posture, and tone. From there, we explore essential skills like chord transitions, scales, and rhythm control at a comfortable pace. I use guitar tablature reading to make learning songs and riffs easier, especially for visual learners. Lessons include visual learning tools such as chord diagrams, scale maps, and video playbacks to reinforce progress. I also bring in gamified methods—challenges, levels, and rewards—to keep lessons fun and motivating. For students who enjoy tradition and want precision, we’ll dive deep into classical pieces, right-hand control, and refined expression. And for those starting later or feeling unsure, I offer patient, step-by-step support to build both skill and belief. Improvisation, ear training, and composition are also part of the journey, helping you develop as a full musician. Every lesson is tailored to your pace, goals, and musical tastes. Whether you’re playing for joy or aiming for excellence, I’ll help you stay focused and inspired.

I'm a dedicated guitar teacher with over 7 years of experience helping students prepare for live performances, studio sessions, auditions, and music school entry. I hold a Diploma of Music with a specialization in Guitar, and I bring both technical knowledge and real-world insight to every lesson. Whether you're chasing a professional music path or simply love to perform, I’m here to guide your growth.

My teaching style is encouraging but focused—I help you build confidence while keeping your goals sharp and achievable. I place strong emphasis on stage presence, tone control, and expression, so you not only play well but also connect with your audience. From solo gigs to ensemble work, we’ll work on the skills that make you stand out.

Creative freedom is a cornerstone of my sessions. I want you to feel free to explore your voice while sharpening your technique and musicality. We’ll tackle everything from tight groove playing and improvisation to composition and audition prep.
