With several years experience working as a journalist, my skills in writing in English are more developed than the average person. I also have a high level of patience, which makes me an ideal candidate to help teach and tutor in English and adjacent subjects, and I even have a knowledge of just about every topic imaginable, and can cater lessons to the interests of my students.

I'm a "learn as you do" instructor, who believes that the best way to learn is to do the work, and reflect and review it afterward. As a journalist, I learned how to do my work while on the job, and it made me a better writer for it. These lessons have also helped me in the short time that I was a substitute teacher, where I was able to develop my middle school students' writing skills significantly in a short period of time. A typical lesson plan is student-led, with the student helping me determine what the most important topic to work on is on a given day, and I will cater it to their specific needs.
