About McKinley
I am a dedicated and professional tutor who is passionate about helping K–5 students build strong academic foundations and confidence in their abilities. I believe every child can succeed when they are taught with patience, structure, and encouragement. My goal is to create a safe, supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. I approach tutoring with organization, preparation, and purpose. Each lesson is thoughtfully planned to meet the student’s individual needs while aligning with grade-level expectations. I focus not only on improving academic skills, but also on developing confidence, problem-solving strategies, and positive learning habits that students can carry into the classroom and beyond.

I am a junior in high school but I also started college my sophomore year to get my associates in business at liberty university, English and math are my two best subjects with over a 90 in both and consistent A+ through the years. My lessons are specifically for grades K-5th, focusing on what the child is struggling with most and truly understanding the topic instead of just memorizing answers. A typical lesson plan would be a 5-10 minute warm up, mini lesson, guided practice, independent practice, review and wrap up. My lessons are for kids who need skill building reading, writing, or math, academic support, homework help, and confidence building
