Hi! My name is Mia, I am a student at the University of Pennsylvania but originally am from South Florida. I have three years of tutoring experience, and have worked with students from 5th to 12th grade, focusing on math, science, and standardized testing (SAT/ACT). Math had never come naturally to me, meaning that I have tried every study method, trick, and tip to teach myself since elementary. I now love having the opportunity to work with young students to break down and build up foundational math skills in an approachable way. I like to incorporate humor and personality into my lessons while creating guides and worksheets specific to each students needs and learning styles.
