About Neo
I am a current student at the University of Wollongong, fresh out of high school (graduated in 2024). Currently I am studying a Bachelor of Law, and I did intend to study Japanese as a second course for my double degree, but unfortunately the university cut that course, so I am unable to undertake it. Therefore, I would like to begin tutoring, both to help students learn and retain Japanese, and also to assist and retain my own proficiency. I have a deep appreciation for Japan and its language and culture, having visited on a school trip in 2023 and fallen in love with the country. I intend to return one day, but until then, I strive to become more proficient and help others learn this beautiful language.

Having just graduated high school, the HSC Japanese Continuers and Extension course are still fresh in my mind. I would love to be able to give students completing any Japanese course from years 7-12, but especially those completing their HSC, guidance and assistance with their coursework. My specialties are reading and writing Japanese, and as such I have many quizlets and readings left over from my senior years in high school, as well as many memory tricks and practice ideas that I would love to share and teach. I have had some previous experience in tutoring, and would like to get back into it, as being a teacher is something I am considering for a future career.
