About Oluwatofunmi
My name is Tofunmi and I’m a student with a passion for helping others understand Maths and Science in a way that actually makes sense. I’ve always enjoyed breaking down tricky topics and explaining them to my classmates or siblings, and I realised I’m really good at making learning feel less stressful. I decided to become a tutor because I know how hard it can be to keep up in class when things aren’t explained properly. I want to help younger students feel more confident, catch up where needed, and even start getting ahead. I believe learning should be calm, encouraging, and even a little fun

I tutor Maths and Science for KS1 and KS2 students. My lessons are simple, clear, and tailored to the student’s level. I always start by figuring out what they’re struggling with — whether it’s algebra, equations, or science topics like cells, energy, or forces — and then break it down step-by-step in a way that actually makes sense. I use short quizzes, practice questions, and real-life examples so they can apply what they learn — not just memorise it. I keep the sessions interactive and fun to build confidence and make sure they’re not bored or overwhelmed. And if they’re preparing for tests, I help them revise properly using exam-style questions.
