About Aiden
I am a student at Willamette University, and at 20 years of age I have a teaching method which is close at heart to the learning style of beginning cello players, while also being experienced enough to teach the most advanced cello skills. In the past, I have taught cello students how to be high level cello players with one of my students achieving first chair cello at my high school within this year (2 years after I started teaching him beginning cello lessons). If you wish to learn Cello at $20 an hour and get the best deal/experience for that value, I am the person you want to study with.

A typical lesson includes scales, exercises for the fingers and bow, a piece from one of the Suzuki Cello books, stretching for Cello, and a brief check in on how the Cello playing is going for the student.
Lessons should be fun and engaging. Given my age and experience, I can provide students the confidence to succeed while remembering to develop skills no matter how long it takes. I look for musical depth but not perfection, because I want my students to be people who can inspire whether that means playing cello in a concert hall or for people who cannot afford to see a live performance.
