About Baishali
I have obtained my training in Kathak Dance form(Indian Classical) from Devaniya in South of India, also known as the Dakshin Gharana of Kathak.
I possess over a decades experience in choreographing and performing bollywood/Indian classical dance forms(Kathak/Bharathnatiyam/basics of Odissi). Choreographed and lead the Accenture Dance Team Chennai India for various inter-corporate competitions for 5 years. Have also choreographed wedding performances for dancers and non dancers.
Have performed with known bollywood dance companies in Melbourne as well.

I try breaking things up for my students so that it is easy to understand. I believe in keeping the basics strong. Dance classes for me would start with warm ups and end with cool down exercises to avoid any injuries during the sessions. Based on the request from students we could either do a choreography(Bollywood/Semi classical/classcial) on a popular song or do a complete Kathak course from Basics that includes theory.
