I’m Katie, a qualified English teacher from London with a passion for language, creativity, and helping others succeed. My journey into teaching stems from a deep love for the English language and the joy I find in guiding students towards achieving their goals. Teaching allows me to combine my organisational skills with my creativity, crafting lessons that are not only effective but also engaging and tailored to each student’s needs. When I’m not teaching, I’m a painter and a creative individual who finds inspiration in art, history, and literature. These passions influence my teaching style, as I believe learning should be as dynamic and enriching as creating a piece of art. I love helping students discover the connections between language and culture, making lessons both practical and meaningful. What excites me most about teaching is the process of structuring and building a pathway for students to grow. I thrive on the challenge of breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps and creating a supportive environment where students can build their skills and confidence. Each lesson is like a collaborative project, where my role is to guide, inspire, and equip students with the tools they need to express themselves fluently and effectively.

She worked very well with both her peers and students. She was especially responsive to student needs and had a good awareness of when, and how, to adapt according to those needs.
