Keele University Maths Student and Prospective Maths Teacher Teaching GCSE Maths in Newcastle Under Lyme
Methodology
At the start of every topic I will begin with the basics, ensuring every student has the foundations to build upon with constant reinforcement of previous topics so nothing is forgotten. I like to keep my talking to a minimum and allow the student to practice questions at their own speed and will only progress when I am confident the topic has been mastered.
Background
I am currently in my last year at university studying Maths, I have had several months experience working in high schools working with entire classes, small groups and individuals, unlocking the highest potential in every student. Whilst I love to teach I also have a strong academic background so I am fully confident in the whole mathematics curriculum.
