About Jane

Hi everyone! I'm Jia!
As a friendly, patient, and outgoing Chinese teacher, I’m deeply passionate about life and lifelong learning. I enjoy working out, experimenting with recipes, painting, reading, and constantly seeking new knowledge. Currently, my German level is B1, and I’m aiming to reach C1 by the second half of this year. Prior to teaching, I worked as a landscape architect for six years—this background has given me in-depth insights into Chinese gardens, traditional architecture, and Chinese aesthetics, allowing me to integrate unique cultural perspectives into language lessons.
I offer tailored Chinese courses for learners of all ages and goals:
Kids’ Courses: Preschool theme-based classes, YCT exam preparation, and "Learn Chinese Easily" series;
Adult Courses: HSK exam preparation, Practical Spoken Chinese, and advanced "Learn Chinese Through Short Dramas" (exclusively for intermediate to advanced learners).

No rote memorization required! I break down the logic of character structure (e.g., pictographic, associative, phonetic compounds) and combine it with scientific visual memory techniques. This helps you understand the cultural connotations and evolutionary rules behind characters, making it easy to recognize, remember, and use them flexibly.
Spoken Chinese
Student-centered and practice-focused—you’ll speak for over 50% of each class! Topics cover high-frequency scenarios like daily communication, hobbies, and workplace conversations. The courses balance a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere with systematic knowledge and coherent content, helping you move from "daring to speak" to "knowing how to speak" and finally to "speaking authentically."
Formal Class Structure
Review: Reinforce key points from the previous class to avoid knowledge gaps;
Goal Setting: Clearly outline the learning focus and skill objectives for the day, ensuring purposeful learning;
Learn & Practice: Immediate practice and real-time error correction for each new concept—master one skill before moving on;
Summary: Systematically organize class content, identify weaknesses, and strengthen memory and application abilities.
Trial Class Details
Before Class: Receive a customized trial plan to clarify your learning direction in advance;
During Class: After a brief icebreaker, we’ll discuss your learning goals, assess your current Chinese level accurately, and create a personalized study plan on the spot;
After Class: Get supporting materials and electronic textbooks. Targeted homework can be assigned based on your schedule and proficiency level.
