As a Bachelor of Science graduate in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo, I bring a well-rounded and practical understanding of science and math to my tutoring sessions. I specialize in teaching students from Grade 6 to Grade 12, covering subjects like biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics.
My approach is student-centered and concept-focused. I aim to build a strong foundation by breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable ideas. I incorporate visual aids, real-world examples, and active problem-solving to keep students engaged and confident. My sessions often include guided practice, interactive Q&A, and regular mini-assessments to track progress.
My tutoring is ideal for:
- Middle school and high school students (Grade 6–12)
- Students preparing for exams or applying to science-focused university programs
- Those who need support with foundational concepts or are struggling in class
- High achievers looking to push beyond the curriculum
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
I needed help getting clarity on certain math concepts for a standardized test that I had coming up. I reached out to Eesha and she helped me understand all of them. Her enthusiasm and patience really aided my learning process. Definitely recommend for anyone that needs to learn something new or just understand their existing lessons better.
Eesha was my roommate during university, and I got to know her really well. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and has always been someone who explains things clearly and with a lot of patience. She’s great at breaking down complicated topics and making them easier to understand, something I saw firsthand when she helped me study or explained things she was learning. She has a gift for science, math, and more, and a passion to share that gift.
She has a really calm and approachable teaching style. She doesn’t make you feel bad for not getting something right away, and she’s always encouraging. I’ve seen her help friends and classmates with schoolwork, and she’s always so supportive and good at meeting people where they’re at.
If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and genuinely good at helping others learn, I’d definitely recommend Eesha. She’s got the knowledge, but more importantly, she really cares.View more recommendations
