About Krupa
I am a qualified pharmacist, with extensive knowledge of science and maths and completed my Master of Pharmacy degree from University of London (UCL).
It is very important that I tailor my tutoring habit to match the learning style of my students, therefore I ensure to be proactive and understand the needs and expectations of each individual student. Firstly, I ensure I am prepared for the lesson and interact with the student and their parent(s) to understand their expectations, what they excel in and what they want to improve. I use a range of techniques for teaching, visual, auditory and tactual as I believe a student is more likely to focus and increase their knowledge by different approaches and this will also allow me to find out my student's learning style. Communication is key in learning, therefore I tailor my communication per student, using both verbal and non-verbal methods and also conduct a status check often to help further gain an insight of where my student's knowledge lies and what they have learnt. As a tutor I believe it is important for me to put the student's needs and wants at the heart of everything I do, ensuring my lessons are knowledgeable, organised and enjoyable.
