About Sehee

안녕하세요 :) I have been teaching Korean for 7 years. Over the past few years, I have developed curricula to teach Korean to students of all ages and levels in Australia, considering each student's unique learning style. I always strive to make learning Korean enjoyable and easy. During class time, I share many stories with my students to help them view Korea more accurately and to give them a natural way to learn about Korean culture through the language.

I can promise that you will get the most out of each class. Like my students, I'm studying Korean every day to improve my teaching skills.I teach based on students' interests and their own pace.
In my first lesson, I usually check the students' level, like where they are, and try to get to know each other because I like to be my students' Korean friend, not just a teacher.

Also I'm working as a interpretater /tranlator for content localization company that we aim to localize Korean content for each countries.so our purpose is to regenerate original korean content creator's intent and that helps me when teaching Korean as well as that's how I teach Korean for student so I teach all these secret also funny interesting tips about Korean languages so they( My student) can aquire Korean language by understanding the nuance, meaning that's derived by Korean culture they have been made to this day.

About the lesson

My entire methodology of teaching Korean is based on what and how students want to learn. Because learning a language cannot be acquired without putting a little bit of effort in a short amount of time. Therefore, I always ask my student, "why is it really important to you?" "what's your motivation for learning Korean?" And you shouldn't take it as study, learning a language is not study. That's what we use in our life without learning if you really think about how you acquired your first language. That's the key point! *Topik lesson is available $100

King Sejong is the founder of Hangul which is Korean alphabet.
Our proud alphabet was created by King Sejong the Great in 1443 and distributed to the people in 1446
He has been well known for being the king who genuinely cared for his people and governed his people well.
King Sejong created Hangul for his people to learn letters easily
All he had in his mind and heart was filled with love towards his people.

I would like to help people who want to learn Korean and I hope they enjoy the learning process and love the culture.
What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?
First and foremost, they need to be able to understand the culture to completely absorb the language.
So, what I emphasize to my students is they need to know how Korean people think and talk and the way they think etc.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.
Just like all languages do, the more we learn the language the harder it is. However, once you can pass the limitations after hitting the wall. that's when that language becomes yours.
How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?
I highly recommend travelling. There's nothing better than being in an environment where everyone uses the language.
