About Karina
Karina is a Woodend based Yoga Teacher who has been practicing yoga since 2011.
Following a very successful career in real-estate, Karina relocated to Vietnam to pursue her passion for yoga. It was in Vietnam that Karina gained her formal qualifications as a Yoga Teacher.
Karina practiced, specialised and taught Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga Basic to ex pat communities, travellers and hotel guests in the beautiful ancient city of Hoi An and the magical tropical island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam.
Karina also practiced and gained further experience in China, Malaysia and Cambodia. Since returning to Australia she has taught in Moama NSW, Woodend, Melbourne and Bendigo.
Karina’s classes focus on physical strength, core and emotional wellbeing, opening the heart and increasing the heart rate, which is why she loves teaching Ashtanga Basic and Vinyasa.
Ashtanga Basic and Vinyasa yoga effectively reduces stress levels, burns calories, tones and strengthens muscles as well as increasing flexibility.
Karina’s background/qualifications include 200 Hours Yoga Teaching Training Australia, Teaching English (TESOL) and 25 years working in the Real Estate industry.
Yoga is more than a hobby for Karina, it has become her passion and way of life. The only regret that she has is that she didn’t start sooner.
Karina’s diversity caters for a large demographic of clients, including teenagers, travellers, sports men and women, advanced yogi’s to beginners seeking to explore the holistic wellness offered by yoga.
Karina’s motto is to challenge yourself and create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tinny inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement just as she has done.
