About Virginia
I am a teacher with a passion for language and literacy. A qualified speech therapist and an experienced early childhood teacher, I'm also undertaking a qualification in adult education. I have spent most of the past 30 years engaged in supporting the development of communication skills, including reading and writing, with children from birth - 12 and their families. I have vast experience with children of all abilities. I have vast experience in teaching the families of young children the skills to enable them to confidently be their child's main language/literacy facilitator.

Topics are individualized and unique needs and interests are integrated. I teach important underlying skills through material that is authentic and meaningful for the student. We also laugh a lot!
