About Eda
I studied Languages (French, German and Spanish) at Durham University. I achieved an A* for French at A-level and various firsts in my French modules throughout my undergraduate studies. I know very well the challenges that students face when learning a language and the best ways to overcome these difficulties.
I also have extensive experience teaching. As part of my year abroad in my undergraduate studies, I taught English in a primary school in Berlin with British Council. I also taught French to primary school children as part of a volunteer service during my undergraduate studies.
Additionally, I have work experience in the hospitality industry, investment banking and the nonprofit sector. Most significantly, I worked for a hotel in Paris, France.

My teaching method is to tailor each curriculum to the needs and interests of my students. We will spend the first lesson discussing your current level, your goals and your strengths. This will help me develop the most effective lesson plan. Regular check-ins are important to make sure that you're not only learning effectively but that you're also enjoying your lessons.
Through my own language learning experiences and previous teaching roles, I have learnt the best practices to make sure lessons are always engaging, challenging and fun. I know how hard it can be to learn a language and more importantly, practice a language to improve fluency. I will create a safe and enjoyable space to help you reach your goals.
