About Selina
Hi, this is Selina. Let me introduce myself briefly. I am a native Chinese speaker with standard Mandarin accent living in the UK; I have 6 years of Chinese teaching experience. I am a Chinese teacher working in a language school in England. My online & offline students range in age from 3 to 60. I held a master’s degree from the Alliance Manchester Business School of the University of Manchester in the UK and gained my bachelor’s degree with first class honours in China.
As a mother of two children, I deeply understand the young students' or beginners’ challenges when they anticipate learning a second language and how these challenges can be overcome. My children were born here, are growing up here, and speak Mandarin like native speakers in the UK. I not only teach my children, also local people in the language school and online students from different countries （the UK, US, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Singapore, UAE, Israel etc.)

Making students feel confident to speak without being afraid of making mistakes is always my first session.
