About Lydia
I am a MFL student currently in my final year at Cardiff University. I study both French and Italian at C1 level (advanced).
I spent last year gaining experience in an international translation company in Paris, as well as doing a study placement at Universita degli di Pavia in Italy.
This academic year I have been a part of the MFL mentoring scheme , carrying out mentoring sessions with Cardiff University's partner secondary schools. This aimed to help encourage students to consider taking a language into further education. It has been an extremely rewarding experience.

I give lessons to beginner and intermediate students of all ages.
In my sessions I aim to cover the essential grammar rules, phrases and vocabulary needed for day-to-day use of the language. I can also tailor classes to suit exam requirements and structures if necessary.
My sessions are created to be fun and easy going, just like a conversation between friends.
