About Isabelle
I am an Ancient History student at the University of Warwick. Since February I currently work part-time as an online tutor teaching French and Spanish four times a week. I teach mainly GCSE level students (although am able to teach any level), supporting them with their grammar, reading comprehension, listening skills and pronunciation. I have a passion for languages: at university I have taken Italian and German, but most of all I am interested in helping others develop that same passion and key interest, and also improve their skills.

Ciao! My name is Isabelle and I am an enthusiastic Ancient History student who is passionate about languages and culture but most of all helping people develop the very same interest that I have . I am half English and French, and proficient in multiple languages - French, Italian, Spanish, Latin and (beginner's) German. As you can tell, languages are my life!
I currently work as a part-time online tutor, and this has helped me develop a concise method of teaching. Since my lessons are online, I have been delivering them through PowerPoint presentations which I have made myself, according to the curriculum. But most of all, I am passionate about the languages I teach. I learned Italian at university and have a deep interest in the culture and one day hope to work abroad there. Therefore, I like to have my students as involved as possible so that it isn't just me reading off a PowerPoint, but interacting and letting them take the lead, which is important in their learning.
Creating interest in the culture and history of the language as well is very important to me. Although I am not a native Italian, I have widely travelled there and. Learning a language isn't just about the A,B,Cs, it is about creating that motivation and interest that drives you to learn even more.
