About Marek
Hello! My name is Marek Peplinski. I am a college student who goes to Purdue University, yet I live in Las Vegas and am in town over the summer. I have been playing chess for almost my entire life, and have continued to rapidly gain rating to this day. I was previously the #1 chess board for Arbor View High School, one of the top rated chess teams in CCSD, going undefeated in our division. I also scored 3rd in the Individual CCSD Chess Championship in 2024. I am rated around 1900. I have plenty of experience teaching beginners and intermediate level players about the game of chess, and I'm looking forward to teaching you this wonderful game!

My passion for teaching and the game of chess will combine to give you the best possible chess lesson. I would prefer to do lessons in-person, however I am also open to online lessons. Lessons will be $25 an hour, and will be specifically tailored to ensuring you grow in the game of chess how *you* want to.
