About Tyra

I am a college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Latin and Classics, and I have been giving lessons for 2 and a half years! I have taught beginner-level and upper-level Latinists and my students have advanced to tutors themselves or upper-level Latinists.

About the lesson

I approach each topic with the same approach as I was taught: treat everyone as a beginner. I invite my students to first lead me and I offer assistance as they ask or as I see fit. I am a huge believer in offering training heels only when they are needed, therefore, I ask questions about translation that allows the student to engage with their own work.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience had by the students of Tyra.

Tyra's response
Flora can try reviewing each lesson after we’re done and before the next! That way, she’s fresh and the information is retained better.
