About Beau

I notice that the need for personal, 1-on-1 tutoring has grown enormously during the lockdown periods of the past school years. In order to contribute, I like to help students as much as possible. Last year I passed my year with only eights and nines and even got tens for a number of schoolexams. I regularly help classmates if they have difficulty with certain parts of a subject, which is much appreciated and almost always has a positive effect on his/her grade. I think the personal aspect of tutoring is the most important and will therefore do everything in consultation with the student. Of course I can always make suggestions, but I am convinced that the student knows best what he/she needs.

About the lesson

Tutoring is possible for all pre-university students up to and including year 4, sometimes also 5 (depending on subject). I believe that personal tutoring should actually be personal and for that reason I like to let the student decide for himself how he/she would like to be helped. I can also, of course, think of plenty of ways myself, if necessary. I have been tutoring in mathematics for 3 VWO for 2 years and helped someone last year from a 4 to a 5.7 average. This gave me a lot of satisfaction and I hope that I can help many more students! How often and for how long the lessons will take place, we determine in consultation because the need differs per person.
