About Katie
I am project manager at and biological engineering company, I have been privately tutoring high school students (from years 7-12) in Biology and Chemistry since I graduated in 2013 (8 years) and University students for 3 years. Additionally, I have been volunteering with the Pyjama Foundation for 2 years. This foundation aims to match volunteer tutors with underprivileged children in the foster care system in order to help them to maintain their grades and keep up with their curriculum. I have a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, where I major in physiology and pathophysiology and minored in biochemistry and microbiology.

I encourage my students to have a voice in the classroom, ask questions when they come up, and participate actively in all conversations and activities regardless of their level of confidence.
