Do you really think that without music theory it is impossible to learn the piano? Do you think it is better to enroll in the conservatory to learn the piano? Do you think you need to have an innate talent to learn the piano? Do you think it's too late to learn the piano? Do you think you have to spend years rehearsing games first before playing a song? Do you think all piano teachers are the same? In this internet age, finding THE piano teacher that matches your needs and expectations can be difficult. Rare are those willing to forget their habits and beliefs about learning to play the piano. More often than not, they apply the same method of learning the piano they grew up with without adapting to YOUR desires or the desires of YOUR child. Today, spending hours and hours on outdated methods like Hanon is a waste of time, energy and motivation. For my part, I never liked scales, arpeggios and finger exercises. Nevertheless, my pianistic playing allowed me to be laureate of several international competitions and to perform in prestigious concert halls (Gaveau hall, Lyon opera house, Hamburg philharmonic). Far from losing my motivation in a tedious apprenticeship, I had the immense pleasure of studying abroad with one of today's greatest soloists, Anna Vinnitskaya (Victoire de la Musique, Echo Preis , 1st Prize of the Queen Elisabeth Competition). It is thanks to my enthusiasm and this pleasure of playing that I stood out from the 120 candidates to be among the 7 lucky ones admitted to the Hamburg University of Music. My intuition to combine pleasure and work was rewarded. For many years, I was able to benefit from the teaching of the greatest piano teachers in Europe (Jacques Rouvier, Severin von Eckerstein, Jongdo An). I have performed in recital, as a soloist with orchestra and in chamber music in numerous festivals and competitions in France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal. I am just as proud to have had so many students with very different levels and needs. Today I want to pass the piano on to more students. I stand out from other teachers because I am listening to YOU. We'll play the songs YOU feel like playing - arranging them as needed. When I went to study in Germany, I was confronted with another piano school. I really had to relearn how to use my body and my fingers. I still remember those tens of hours spent disrupting my automatisms. I am now able to transmit a natural method of learning the piano, without tension and without forcing. Believe me, fun brings results. All my students who entered junior competitions won first prize! What I know you can learn too! I love to pass on knowledge and overcome educational difficulties. My learning method is broken down into three axes which adapt to YOU: 1. Awareness of the muscular apparatus and acquisition of the fundamentals of piano technique. 2. Development of the musical ear to improve the quality of sound on the piano (and no longer sound like an amateur). 3. Acquisition of the basics of memorization and the working method to progress rapidly (memorize structure and harmony). I sincerely hope that I can help you overcome your difficulties and teach you the piano. I remain at your disposal for any further information. Yours, PS. : -Possibility of home travel (adjustable increase depending on travel time) -Payment by CESU possible.
