About Ioanna
I am a Law graduate from the University of Bristol and completed the Bar Training Course with a Master’s at BPP University London. I achieved A* in both English Literature and English Language at GCSE and A-Level, so I know what it takes to excel.
I teach English online to students of all levels, from GCSE to A-Level. I love teaching because I enjoy helping students feel confident in their skills, understand texts, and discover the satisfaction that comes from improving. Seeing someone grasp a tricky concept or improve their writing is incredibly rewarding.
In my lessons, I focus on clear explanations, practical strategies, and exam preparation — all in a friendly, supportive environment. My experience as a pupil barrister helps me teach structured writing and critical thinking, which really helps students excel in English.

I make learning English enjoyable and rewarding. My lessons focus on helping students understand texts clearly, build confidence in their writing, and develop skills that go beyond exams.
I break down complex ideas into simple, manageable steps, guide students through essay writing, and practise exam-style questions to ensure they feel prepared and confident. I encourage questions, discussion, and creativity — learning should feel engaging, not stressful.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but I can adjust based on each student’s needs.
I achieved A* in English Literature and Language at GCSE and A-Level. I am a Law graduate from the University of Bristol (2:1) and completed the Bar Training Course with a Master’s (First Class). My experience as a pupil barrister helps me teach clear, structured writing and critical thinking — skills that really help students excel in English.
I teach students from GCSE to A-Level and enjoy supporting anyone who wants to improve, gain confidence, and reach their full potential. My goal is to create a friendly, encouraging space where students feel comfortable learning and growing.
