I have always loved to read and this has translated into a love of literature and the English language. My goal as a tutor is to teach you to construct your essays and exam answers in a coherent and stylistic flow which will show off all of your epic vocab (which of course we will work on!)
I love to tutor because I feel like by offering this kind of close mentorship, I can really give a student confidence to achieve their full potential. I am eager to help you to navigate the difficult parts of each subject and supply helpful tips in writing answers which will help you to score a high mark. I am also here to make sure that you can finesse the finer details of an essay or exam question.
My lessons are based around the Australian curriculum. My teaching method is to be supportive and show my students new ways of approaching questions which will make it easier for them in the future.
I also welcome any questions that a student may have and if they are having trouble in a particular area I make sure to focus a lesson around the foundation skills of that area.
I also am happy to introduce students to studying techniques that I found helpful in the past.
I am a 2019 graduate of Haileybury college and achieved an ATAR of 98.4.
I am excited to start helping younger students to achieve better understanding of school material and the methods of study that work best for them.
I have previously coached tennis clinics and dance lessons for kids aged 10-15. I really enjoy teaching and like that I can build strong relationships with my students whilst helping them to achieve their best.

Perfect! I can highly recommend Nina who tutored my son. She is inspiring, organised and well prepared. She is really invested in helping her student feel more positive about their learning, and seeing them improve. Nina is reliable, bright, engaging and very smart. We couldn't have asked for more. thank you Kim
