About Mark
I am experienced in tutoring and teaching:
- English - all levels;
- Maths - year K to 6;
- Law/Legal Studies;
- Business Studies; and
- Teaching English as a second language.
I've always loved teaching and learning. In addition to tutoring in the above subjects, I also volunteer helping children from disadvantaged backgrounds with reading practice, and I teach English to migrants in Sydney. I have taught English as a second language in Russia and Japan, and I was a snow-ski instructor to children in Lake Tahoe in the USA.
I hold a Bachelor of Laws (Hons), a Bachelor of Arts (Japanese) and a Bachelor of Commerce (International Studies). I study Spanish in my spare time.

At the beginning of each lesson, I will discuss with the student precisely what they are looking to get from the lesson, and agree a learning plan. This ensures that I can tailor the session to ensure the best learning outcomes for the student.
