About Curtis
I am very motivational yet understanding aswell. I like to insure my students that they will not only get the confidence but also the best lessons to fit areas in which each individual struggles in. My goal is to guarantee success and give a clear vision in just how easy it is to understand the subjects with a little bit of effort and time. In order to do so I make notes of each individual’s struggle points to further develop not only the skills needed but the relationship needed to insure the best comfort and ability each individual is capable of, so no one feels discouraged or overwhelmed.

My teaching strategies consist of getting a complete breakdown of how both algebra and geometry work. A typical lesson plan with me would include step by step guidance in both subjects. One thing that sets me apart from other tutors is the fact that not only do I teach my students what they need to know to be successful in the subjects, I also take to extra time to get to know my students and what strategies they understand best. So they can learn in a way that best fits they’re thinking process. My lessons typical are best suitable for a high school level class. Anywhere from freshman to senior, so you can be sure to get the extra help outside of school when you need it most!
