Group and individual lessons are based on the needs of the students. The lesson usually includes a text with new words and some new grammar rules. The aim of the structure of the lesson is to help the students to remember new words. I try to make the lesson as involving as possible, using humour, games and changing activities, so that by the end of the lesson the students will recognise most of the new words and will be able to use them in sentences.
I am an Arabic language translator/interpreter and an ESL teacher.
I have used Arabic language in many fields during my life - for reading medieval historians, for working with Arabic speaking delegations, for teaching English, Arabic - English translation/interpreting and English Literature.
Cancellation policy - Cancellation should be done 24 hours before the lesson, otherwise the student will be charged. However, this policy does not apply to different unexpected events (health, death of relatives, accidents in the family).
I will include cost of travel if the cost will be too high, this can be agreed upon.
I will give the first lesson for free, but it will be short, 45 min.
If the student does not study, I will stop giving lessons.
Now I am a note taker at Western Sydney university.
Previously I have worked as an ESL teacher in Saudi Arabia and S.Korea, at several places in Canberra, including TAFE in Ryde.
I have worked as interpreter/translator in Kuwait, where we were creating Arabic - English Dictionary with my husband, and in Russia, where I was interpreting at different types of international negotiations (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs etc.) and international forums (Olympiads, Cinematic Festivals, World Youth Festival etc.).
Together with my husband, we wrote a Manual of Arabic- English Military translation.
I love teaching very much and I feel happy when with my help people achieve something they desire.
