About Idorenyin
I am a professional bassist with over 15 years of experience playing in live bands, gospel settings, and Afrobeat sessions. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of groove, timing, tone, and musical expression, and I enjoy helping others grow into confident, skilled bass players.
In my lessons, I focus on practical, real-world bass playing rather than just theory. I teach everything from the basics—finger placement, timing, scales, and rhythm—to more advanced skills like groove development, walking bass lines, slap technique, improvisation, and playing effectively in a live band setting.
My goal is to help each student build strong fundamentals while also developing their own unique sound and confidence on the instrument. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate player looking to improve, my lessons are structured to meet your level and musical goals.
