About Vikram
I am Vikram Mavlankar, a FIDE-rated chess player and coach with a peak Elo rating of 2089 and over 20 years of chess experience. I provide personalized 1-to-1 online coaching for children, beginners, adults, intermediate and tournament players. My lessons focus on tactics, calculation, strategy, openings, endgames and game analysis. I teach students to understand chess and think independently, rather than simply memorize moves. Rather than simply teaching students what move to play, I focus on helping them understand why the move works and how to think independently.

Details
My online 1-to-1 chess coaching fee is $15 per 60-minute session.
Each lesson is personalized according to the student's age, playing level and goals. Sessions may include tactical training, calculation, strategy, openings, endgames, game analysis and tournament preparation.
