About Judith

Hello, my name is Judith. I was born and raised in the Amsterdam region and have been living in France for 30 years. Languages have always appealed to me, and I really enjoy meeting people from other countries. I speak fluent French and English, and I also have a working knowledge of German and Spanish. I also lived and worked in Spain and obtained a university degree in France. As a result, I know from personal experience what it means to learn a new language as an adult and what cultural challenges you face when emigrating.

My professional background is in international business (management, finance). In addition, I have experience in adult training and have taught English to adult learners in France.

About the lesson

My lessons are fully tailored to your level and your goals, for example:
– being able to manage everyday situations in the Netherlands
– practice your speaking or writing skills
– preparation for the Staatsexamens NT2
– improving your language skills out of personal or cultural interest

My main goal is for you to enjoy learning. Learning a language is a process that takes time and effort, but where possible, I tailor topics to your interests, studies, or field of work, which makes learning much more enjoyable and effective.

My lessons cover all skills: speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. I work with a variety of materials such as texts, audio, video, interactive exercises, role-plays, and practical assignments. You will also learn a lot about Dutch culture and typical expressions and peculiarities of the Dutch people.
