About Courtney

Hello! My name is Courtney and I am looking forward to meeting you.

I chose to teach English because I myself had trouble when I was young learning along with the class. I was thankful enough to have a teacher who taught me outside of class in a way that I still carry with me to this day that was simple and easy to follow along that I think will help you too.

As well as for people that English is their second language, I have a lot of experience in also helping with how to say the words correctly, the meanings of the word and when to use it as I have helped many people before and enjoy doing it :)

About the lesson

At first we will start with seeing what level you are at (how many words and sentences you know)

From there depending on your level we can start with the sounds letters make as well as vowels which will teach pronunciation, reading and writing.
By being able to understand this you will be able to read any word in the dictionary and more!

Next we can move on to sentences and greetings both in written and verbal form.

As well as work sheets, practice games and books to read
you’ll be reading, writing and talking like a pro after we are done!
