About Maria
Hello! I’m Mariia, a recent graduate of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in Finland, where I achieved a Grade 7 in IB English B — the highest possible score. This reflects not only strong English proficiency, but also a high level of academic precision, communication, and exam performance under rigorous international standards.
Having studied in a multicultural and multilingual environment, I understand what it takes to become truly confident in English, not just in theory, but in real academic and everyday use. I specialize in helping students move beyond uncertainty and start expressing themselves clearly, naturally, and effectively.
My teaching approach is structured, results-oriented, and fully personalized. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level and goals, whether that includes improving speaking fluency, mastering grammar, expanding vocabulary, or achieving higher grades in school examinations. I place strong emphasis on active language use, critical thinking, and building long-term confidence.

My approach as a tutor is centered around creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing English and making mistakes. Having recently completed the IB Diploma Programme and achieved a Grade 7 in English B, I understand the challenges students face when learning English as a second language. My goal is to make learning practical, enjoyable, and relevant to real-life situations.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners, teenagers, school students, and anyone looking to improve their confidence in speaking, grammar, vocabulary, or everyday communication. Lessons can be conducted in English, Russian, or Ukrainian depending on the student’s needs.
