About Marion

I grew up in Germany and worked as a teacher, first with primary school students and later in adult education. I’ve moved to Australia 29 years ago where I worked as an event manger on a part-time basis but was mainly home with my children, who are grown-ups now. While they were growing up we regularly travelled to Germany for extended periods and both my children are fluent in Germany.

I moved to Adelaide about three years ago and have since been teaching German to high-school students. It’s been a very rewarding journey and I look forward to meeting new students. I can offer communication session which can easily be done online, but I find that grammar and spelling is easier to teach in person. But I’m open to the preference of the student.

About the lesson

I’m focusing the content of the lesson on the experience of the students, what interest them. The main aim is to get the student to start using the language by practicing communication, vocabulary will be added as we go along.
