  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

Mathematics has always been the subject that excites me the most. From a young age, I enjoyed solving problems, understanding patterns, and exploring logical thinking. With time, this interest turned into a passion. As I continued studying, I realised how beautiful and powerful mathematics can be when explained in a simple and relatable way.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

My biggest motivation to teach comes from the satisfaction of seeing a student finally understand a concept they once found difficult. During my own school days, I was fortunate to have teachers who made math feel easy and enjoyable. Their impact inspired me to follow the same path and help students overcome their fear of mathematics.
  • How does your work help society?

Mathematics builds logic, discipline, confidence, and problem-solving skills, which students use throughout their lives. By helping students strengthen these abilities, I contribute to shaping independent thinkers who can make informed decisions. A strong foundation in math opens doors to many career opportunities, and I’m proud to play a role in that journey.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

My role model has always been my school mathematics teacher. He had a unique ability to explain even the toughest topics in a simple and friendly way. His approach showed me that the right teaching method can change a student’s entire perception of a subject. I try to bring the same clarity and positivity into my own teaching.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring educational technology tools, making math-related videos, and improving my online teaching setups. I also like watching documentaries, travelling, and learning new ways to make classes more engaging and interactive.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

One of my favourite memories is when a student who consistently failed in math suddenly scored above 90% after months of steady practice. His happiness and confidence that day reminded me why I love this profession. It proved once again that with the right guidance and consistency, every student can improve.
