About Ifiokobong
I’m a graduate of Medical Physiology, and I really enjoy helping students understand subjects that often feel difficult at first. If you were my student, my goal would be to make physiology, anatomy, and pathophysiology feel much less confusing and much more manageable.
I know that a lot of medical science topics can seem heavy, especially areas like cardiovascular physiology, neurophysiology, endocrine physiology, and other core systems. What I do is break those topics down in a way that is simple, clear, and easy to follow without watering down the important details. I want you to understand what you are learning, not just cram it for an exam and forget it later.
Apart from tutoring, I also support research work. I help with literature reviews, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses, and I also assist with academic writing, editing, and proofreading of scientific papers. So if you need help not only with learning a topic but also with research-related work, that is something I can support you with as well.
My teaching style is very interactive and student-focused. I like to first understand where you are struggling, then meet you at that level and build your understanding step by step. I do not just talk at students. I explain, ask questions, use examples, and make sure you are following as we move along. I want lessons to feel like a real learning process, not just a lecture.
My method is simple. I break big topics into smaller parts, explain them clearly, connect them to practical or clinical meaning where necessary, and then go over them again in a way that helps them stick. If you are preparing for exams, I can also help with revision, practice questions, and focusing on weak areas that need more attention.
The results I aim for are straightforward. I want you to become more confident, understand the subject better, improve academically, and feel more comfortable handling medical science topics on your own. A good lesson, to me, is one where you leave understanding something that used to confuse you.
What makes me a good teacher is that I am patient, clear, and genuinely interested in helping students improve. I know how frustrating it can be when a subject feels overwhelming, so I make it a point to teach in a way that feels supportive, practical, and easy to connect with. My aim is always to help you move from confusion to clarity.

My teaching style is simple, structured, and very student-focused. Physiology can feel overwhelming at first, so I break difficult topics into smaller, clear sections and teach them in a way that helps students truly understand the “why” behind each concept, not just memorize facts for exams. I use diagrams, step-by-step explanations, clinical examples, short quizzes, and discussion-based teaching to make lessons more engaging and easier to retain.
A typical lesson usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and the depth of the topic. Most classes begin with a quick review of previous material, followed by teaching the main concept, working through likely exam questions, and ending with a recap of the key points.
I hold a Master’s degree in Cardiovascular Physiology and I am currently pursuing a degree in Medicine and Surgery. This gives me both a strong academic foundation and a practical understanding of how physiology connects to clinical medicine.
My lessons are for undergraduate and postgraduate students in basic medical sciences, nursing, pharmacy, and medicine. They are especially helpful for students who want clearer understanding, better exam preparation, and more confidence with challenging physiology topics.
