About Marion
In addition to what I've already said, I helped a middle school student during the summer skip one entire year of French to go into French 3!
I am very sensitive to my student's needs and adapt my teaching methods as needed at the same time using as much French.
If I feel the student doesn't have sufficient knowledge of English grammar, I will include an English grammar lesson which transfers into French and makes teaching French much easier.

French has been a part of my life since the age of 16. I have a bachelor's degree in French language and institutions and a master's degree in linguistics. I taught middle and high school French in a college preparatory middle and high school. My junior year was spent in Paris and I returned to Europe 2 years later to work in France and francophone Switzerland. I taught for Berlitz in both the US and in France.
My language teaching approach uses as much of the target language as possible including when I explain concepts such as grammar. This is called the Direct Approach.
