Perhaps you are wondering what made me become a Spanish teacher? Well, since I was a little boy I felt and knew that I wanted to be a teacher, and teaching Spanish is a great opportunity to share my language and culture with people from other cultures, and after 7 years teaching Spanish, I can say that this is my vocation. Being an online teacher does not only mean transmitting your knowledge so that the student knows and learns more. It is about creating a special bond with which to connect with the student. A teacher-student relationship is like any kind of human relationship in life, just like a friendship or love relationship.

Originally I studied Russian Philology in Madrid and over time, I ended up in Russia where I lived for 3 years in the beautiful and enigmatic city of Krasnoyarsk, in Siberia. It was in 2015 when my adventure with the Spanish language began. I started teaching at the university, as well as in different schools and academies. This experience allowed me to have a better vision of how not only language teaching works, but also human communication, which made me grow exponentially both personally and professionally. Returning to Spain after three years abroad was complicated, I had a period of reflection since at first I did not plan to work online but in a secondary school or academy.

After a hiatus of a few months in which I was working at CHANEL (yes, the famous French luxury fashion house), I decided that I wanted to continue training as a teaching professional, and that is how I made the decision to become an online Spanish teacher. It was not an easy task. Starting from scratch is always a hard time, but I always believed in myself, and with hard work and perseverance I managed to make my job my passion and livelihood.

HOW AM I AS A TEACHER?

• I know how to approach people and I can understand how to deal with a specific person.
• I know the typical mistakes of English speakers, both in grammar and in pronunciation.
• I know very well the history and culture of my country as well as other Spanish-speaking countries such as Mexico.

WHAT ARE MY TEACHING GOALS?

• Be primarily a friend who goes hand in hand with the student, leading him from point A to point B.
• Motivate the student not only to learn the language, but also to plunge into the culture.
• Be strict, but at the same time cheerful and open so that the student looks forward to each lesson.

My lessons last 1 hour. The first trial lesson costs 5 euros and also lasts 60 minutes. One lesson costs 19 euros, but there are two subscriptions that can be purchased for 4 and 10 lessons!

I don’t work with books, but I have a course that I created especially for my students

In my classes, I teach not only grammar and vocabulary, but also cultural facts about Spain and Spanish-speaking countries, phonetics, spelling and intonation, in order to speak as naturally as possible and like a native Spanish speaker

I also attach great importance to the spoken language, because it is very important to know what Spanish is currently being spoken on the street
