About Elena
I have a Bachelor Degree in Modern Literature and History of Art. After graduating, I taught at the University for Foreigners of Perugia (Universita' per Stranieri di Perugia) in Italy and at the Italian Cultural Institute in Egypt and Turkey in addition to being a private tutor. Overall, I've spent 6 years teaching students from different countries, cultural backgrounds, levels of proficiency and age groups.

I give lessons to children, students and adults at various levels (GCSE, A levels, general knowledge). My lessons are personalised based on each student's level and interests. I use a wide range of methods( videos, films ,podcasts and websites...) and books to make the class engaging and not only focusing on grammar exercises. I believe that grammar is fundamental when learning a language but both grammar and vocabulary must be taught in context and not as a set of abstract rules.
