About Rina

I studied English in Oxford, UK, where I discovered the joy of language learning and cultural exchange. As an experienced online Japanese tutor, I have taught for over a year, completing more than 500 hours of lessons with students from around the world. I’m passionate about helping beginners learn Japanese clearly and confidently, just as I once learned English abroad.

About the lesson

Each lesson lasts 90 minutes and focuses on building a solid foundation in Japanese through a mix of textbook learning, speaking practice, and grammar explanation. I provide clear, step-by-step guidance so that even complete beginners can learn comfortably. Lessons are held in person at State Library Victoria. The fee is AUD $60 per lesson, and payment for each month is made before the first lesson of that month. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can enjoy learning Japanese and gain confidence in using it in real life.

With her lessons i went from barely being able to speak to JLPTN2 in two years. Her teaching style is strict but kind and although her lessons have a casual feel, she stays on topic and the progress is amazing.
