About Miyu
Hi! I’m Miyu, a native Japanese speaker from Osaka now living in Sydney. I’m studying a Bachelor of Business at UTS and love sharing my culture, especially through food and language! I started teaching Japanese after helping my friends learn everyday conversation — and I realized how much I enjoy seeing people grow and gain confidence. My lessons are always supportive, fun, and encouraging because I want every student to feel comfortable making mistakes and enjoying the process. Whether you want to learn travel Japanese, chat naturally, or explore Japanese food and culture, I’ll guide you with patience and positive energy ;) Let’s learn together and make Japanese feel simple and exciting!

Hi! I’m Miyu, a friendly native Japanese tutor from Osaka
If you’ve ever wanted to learn Japanese and experience the culture in a fun, natural way, my lessons are perfect for you!
Each lesson is a minimum of 1 hour, and completely flexible — we can chat casually, practice everyday conversation, or focus on reading and writing (hiragana, katakana, and kanji).
You can even learn Japanese while cooking simple Japanese dishes with me It’s a super fun and unique way to pick up real expressions and cultural phrases!
I welcome anyone who’s interested — beginners, travellers, students, or anyone curious about Japan. My goal is to make every lesson relaxed, engaging, and enjoyable so you can feel confident using Japanese in real life
