About Haruna
Hi! I’m Haruna, a 24-year-old Japanese teacher from Fukuoka, Japan.
️I grew up in Fukuoka, Kyushu, and I’ve also lived in Osaka, so I can teach you not only Standard Japanese, but also Hakata-ben and Osaka-ben!
️I moved to Perth in September, and I’m excited to share Japanese language and culture with people here.
️I also have an 8th Dan in Japanese calligraphy, so I can introduce you to the beauty of Japanese writing, kanji and calligraphy.
I believe learning Japanese should be fun, practical and connected to things you actually love.
️Whether you love Japanese food, anime, music, travel, fashion, games or traditional culture, let’s use your interests to learn real Japanese together!
I’d love to hear about your favorite things about Japan and turn them into our lessons.
