Your first lesson includes a complimentary 30 minute consultation. In this timeframe, I will learn what you want to accomplish in your future lessons and what projects you're ready to start with. From there, I will suggest patterns, yarn, needles, and everything else in between! You'll be knitting in no time.

I can provide yarn, needles, and other notions for in-class use. However, I recommend that you come ready with your own supplies so you can work on your projects on your own time as well!

Eager to get started? Shop for your supplies with the shopping list below. This is enough for a lovely little scarf or cozy socks.

Beginner Shopping List:
- 8 ply 'DK/Double Knitting' ; 200 m. I suggest Merino Wool.
- 3.5mm 'US 4' ; 80 cm Circular Needles. I suggest Bamboo or Wooden needles for beginners.

*Beginner Lessons*

In a Beginner Lesson, I will teach you the foundations of knitting.

You will learn:
- How to cast on and knit
- How to hold your needles
- Choosing the right yarn and reading a yarn label
- How to read a pattern
- How to knit a gauge swatch

*General Lessons*

General lessons are a great option if you're looking to advance beyond knitting, purling, or simple projects. Whether you want to graduate from a scarf to a jumper, or looking to overcome advanced techniques such as cables and lace; I'll guide you along the way!

As you progress through your projects, we can check-in and see if you need help or assurance along the way.

This is a great time to overcome your fear of frogging (rip it, rip it, rip it), struggling to bind off, or just need a new set of eyes to look at your project.
