About Andy
I am a Mexican folkloric dancer with over 10 years of experience. I was part of a folkloric dance group in Tijuana, where I participated in cultural events and competitions, earning group awards and recognitions. My goal is to share Mexican folklore in a warm, clear, and enjoyable way, always honoring its culture and traditions. My lessons are online and suitable for all ages, especially for beginners with no prior experience. I focus on teaching basic technique, coordination, rhythm, and expression, progressing step by step at each student’s own pace. I truly believe that anyone can learn folkloric dance with the right guidance and a supportive learning environment.

My teaching approach is warm, patient, and motivating. I focus on making students feel comfortable and confident while learning Mexican folklore, even if they have never danced before.
My online classes combine basic technique, coordination, rhythm, and body expression, all explained step by step. A typical lesson includes a warm-up, practice of fundamental steps and short sequences, and guided practice with personalized feedback.
I have been dancing Mexican folklore from age 17 and was part of a dance group in Tijuana, where we earned awards in competitions and participated in various cultural events. This experience allows me to teach not only the steps, but also the passion, discipline, and love for tradition.
Lessons are open to all ages, especially beginners who want to start from scratch, improve their coordination, or connect with Mexican culture in a fun and authentic way.
