About Natalya

Hi! I'm Natalya, a Film student with a strong passion for photography, filmmaking and visual storytelling. Through my studies, internships and personal creative projects, I have gained practical experience working with cameras, planning and shooting visual content, editing and developing creative concepts.

I have experience working with professional camera equipment and editing software, and I particularly enjoy helping others understand the creative side of photography as well as the technical side. I believe photography should be enjoyable and personal, so I adapt my lessons to each student's interests, whether they want to learn the basics, become more confident with their camera or develop their own visual style.

I am patient, friendly and approachable, and I understand that learning something new can sometimes feel intimidating. My aim is to create a relaxed environment where students can ask questions, experiment and build their confidence at their own pace.

Whether you are completely new to photography or simply want to improve your skills, I would love to help you develop your confidence and creativity behind the camera.

About the lesson

My photography lessons are designed for beginners and anyone who wants to become more confident using a camera and developing their own creative style. As a Film student with practical experience in photography, filmmaking and visual storytelling, I combine technical skills with creativity so that lessons are both useful and enjoyable.

I like to teach through a combination of explanation and hands-on practice. Depending on the student's goals, we can cover camera settings such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO, composition, lighting, framing, lenses and how to create a specific visual style. I can also help students understand how to approach photography creatively rather than simply learning technical settings.

Lessons are typically 1 hour, although this can be adapted depending on the student's needs and level. For online lessons, I can use practical examples, photographs and exercises to explain concepts clearly. In-person lessons can also include practical shooting and feedback on the student's own work.

My lessons are primarily aimed at beginners, teenagers and adults who are interested in learning photography, improving their camera skills or developing their creative eye. No previous photography experience is required, and I am happy to adapt each lesson to the student's individual interests and goals.
