Hi I'm Steven! A passionate snooker and pool player who loves helping others improve their game. I've spent years of practicing, competing and studying the game and now i want to share the knowledge with you!
Along the way, some of my proud achievements include
- Champion of 2022 NSW U18 snooker championship
- Champion of 2024 Sydney cuesoc first year 8 ball pool championship
- Runner up of 2025 Sydney cuesoc 8 ball pool championship
- Fourth in 2018 Hong Kong U18 snooker championship
Whether you're a total beginner or looking to fine-tune your skills, I'll tailor lessons to your style and goals. I've come across a variety of players including beginners, solid amateur players and even someone who hasn't picked up a pool/snooker cue! Lesson structure depends on ones ambitions and levels. There is a brief structure below.
Beginners:
- Basic posture (stance, bridging, grip, aiming position)
- Technique (cueing, rest play, mid distance shots, potting angle, angle shots)
- Matchplay (basic goals, basic rules, strategies)
intermediate players
- Higher level technique (building consistency, long pots, positional play, double/ bank shots)
- Matchplay (recognising patterns for clearing up, snooker escape, how to overcome pressure)
Advanced players
- Lessons are usually tailored to individual's weaknesses.

Steven is a patient and skillful teacher in piano and he knows exactly how to keep you interested in it! He teaches in a way that is easy to understand and follow, and I’m so happy to see myself being able to play increasingly hard scores now (although I did practice a lot!!)
