About Jenny

Hi! I’m Jenny, a native Korean tutor from Busan, currently living in Melbourne! I’ve been teaching Korean to students from different backgrounds and levels, from complete beginners to intermediate learners. I’m a super outgoing and friendly person, and I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and sharing Korean culture! I believe learning a language should be fun and comfortable, not stressful. So don’t worry if you’re shy or nervous about speaking Korean! I love getting to know my students, hearing about their daily lives, and creating a relaxed environment where we can learn and laugh together. I want you to feel like you’re learning Korean with a friend, not just sitting in a classroom! 🫶🏻

About the lesson

My lessons are personalised to your level, interests and goals! Whether you’re a complete beginner or already know some Korean, I’ll help you build your confidence step by step. What we can learn together: * Real-life conversations: Learn how Koreans actually speak in everyday situations, including natural expressions and slang. * Grammar & vocabulary: Understand Korean sentence structures and learn how to use them naturally. * Pronunciation: Improve your pronunciation and sound more like a native speaker. * Korean culture: Explore Korean music, trends, social life and cultural differences. * Speaking practice: Have fun, relaxed conversations about your daily life and interests. I have experience teaching students with different Korean levels, as well as teaching teenagers in English immersion programmes. I also prepare lesson materials based on each student’s needs, so we can focus on what YOU want to improve! Lessons can be structured and grammar-focused or more casual and conversation-based. It’s totally up to you! My goal is to make you feel comfortable speaking Korean, even if you make mistakes. That’s how we learn!
