About Ruben

Native Fluency meets 15 Years of Professional Leadership.

Choosing a tutor is about more than just finding someone who speaks the language; it’s about finding a communicator who knows how to help you learn.

While I am a native Spanish speaker, my real expertise lies in a career spanning over 15 years of managing, instructing, and developing people. Throughout my professional journey, I have mastered the art of breaking down complex concepts, providing constructive feedback, and tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of every individual I mentor.

Professionalism & Results
I bring the same discipline and high standards to my Spanish lessons that I have applied to over a decade of professional management. When you book a session with me, you aren't just getting a conversation partner—you are getting a coach who is:

Strategically Organised: Every lesson has a clear objective and a path to progress.

Highly Adaptable: I recognise that an executive learning for business needs a different approach than a student learning for travel.

Deeply Committed: My reputation is built on the success of the people I lead. Your fluency is my primary metric for success.

I don’t just teach you how to pass a test; I teach you how to command a room, navigate a city, and express your personality in Spanish. Let’s leverage my years of instructional experience to fast-track your path to fluency.

About the lesson

Stop Studying Spanish. Start Speaking It.

Are you tired of "classroom" Spanish that nobody actually uses? As a native speaker with over 15 years of experience in management and professional instruction, I don't just teach grammar—I coach you to communicate with confidence and cultural nuance.

My Methodology: The "Natural Fluency" Approach
Forget rote memorisation. My sessions are built on Active Immersion. We focus on:

Contextual Learning: We learn phrases and vocabulary through real-world scenarios, not isolated lists.

The 80/20 Rule: We prioritise the 20% of grammar and vocab used in 80% of daily conversation.

Adaptive Coaching: Using my decade-plus of leadership experience, I tailor my feedback to your specific learning style, ensuring you stay motivated and see progress every week.

Session Details
Duration: Lessons are typically 60 minutes—the "sweet spot" for high retention without mental fatigue.

Location: 100% Online (Zoom/Google Meet) for your convenience.

Level & Age: I welcome all levels (A1–C2) and age groups. Whether you are a professional prepping for a business trip or a hobbyist starting from zero, I’ve got you covered.

Why Choose a Native Coach Over a Textbook?
While I choose to focus on practical results rather than academic certifications, my 15 years of directing and instructing people have taught me how to break down complex ideas so they "click." You get the authentic accent, the local slang, and the professional guidance of a veteran mentor.
